I’m Meeta Suraiya, the founder of Meetakriti Art Studio. Welcome to my happy place. I’ve always enjoyed the process of creating something from nought. I’d often dabble in the world of art and craft in the hope of producing something unique. I believe our hands connect us to the earth and, like her, ought to be engaged to be bountiful. I grew up in an analogue world on the brink of a digital transition. And I can safely tell you; I’d not trade that life for anything. We did not own much, but we had enough. We made up what we seemingly lacked in this simple life through imagination. And just like that, I had found my life’s artistic calling. As a gold medallist Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture), I’m bringing some old-world sunshine into this fast-paced digital world. The eco-friendly Ganesha has become a festive benchmark, among other popular workshops I conduct. Come, and experience my art, painting and sculpture workshops with like-minded audiences from 6 to 60 years of age.
